On Thanksgiving Lenape played Shawnee for Lenape’s last game of the season. In the win Lenape totaled up about 169 yards of total offense compared to Shawnee’s 188 yards of total offense. However Shawnee couldn’t manufacture a drive for most of the game and gave up a big turnover in the 2nd quarter throwing an interception in the endzone. Highlights from the game included a 2 yard touchdown run from #1 Xavier Coleman. As well as a 26 yard touchdown pass from #7 Brady Long to #4 Connor Kennedy that put Lenape two scores ahead in the 2nd quarter. In the end Lenape won in a blowout 24-7 winning their final game of the 2019 season.
