There are many lip products on the market—lip oils, glosses, stains, lipsticks, and balms. I love to buy and test out different lip products. Here are reviews of some of the popular lip products that I have tried:
1. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm
These went viral and work as a nourishing lip balm and a lip gloss. The scents are amazing and have a sheer tint to them. The applicator is well-made and unique, but the product is a bit on the pricier side for a lip balm.

2. Glossier Balm Dotcom
The old formula was better for this product. The scents are still great, but they do not last as long on your lips. Glossier is selling a limited edition original formula Balm Dotcom in two special holiday scents.

3. E.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil
These are relatively new and supposed to be similar to the Dior lip oils. They are very soft and not sticky. The color payoff is good for a lip oil, and the product smells slightly minty which I enjoy.

4. LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm
These were super popular before the Summer Fridays lip balm. I like these, and they smell really good. I do think the Summer Fridays lip balm lasts a little longer. Also, the price per ounce is $51.43 compared to $48 for the Summer Fridays. Yet, it is a pretty close call between the two lip balms.

5. Benetint
I bought this, but I ended up returning it because I did not like it. The stain does not last super long, and you have to layer it before the color turns out well. Yet, a lot of people enjoy this product, and it can also be used as a cheek stain.

6. NYX Butter Gloss
These are good non-sticky glosses, and they are super affordable. NYX offers a wide variety of colors and bonus–they smell really good.

7. Rosebud Perfume Co. Lip Balm
These are a more unheard-of brand. I love the strawberry flavor, and the balm feels like Aquaphor, so it’s super moisturizing. This is one of my favorite lip balms, but it’s not glossy in comparison to the LANEIGE or the Summer Fridays. The company sells the balm in both tins and tubes. They’re also another affordable lip balm.

8. Rare Beauty Lip Oil
This is a very unique product. Rare Beauty markets it as a lip oil, but I like to use it as a lip stain. It’s super glossy at first but dries into a long-lasting stain. The formula is hydrating as well.
