Interview with Roma Soni
Isabel: “Are you happy with the decisions you have made this year, academically, socially, and overall?”
Roma: “So with my academic decisions, I am very happy that I picked the classes that I chose because that way I get most of my credits done, but when it comes to actually studying, I wish I had tried a little bit more in biology at the beginning of the school year.
Isabel: “How about socially?”
Roma: “Socially, I didn’t expand my friend group, not gonna lie. It is like the same three people, plus one other person. Which is a new addition, but I am talking to more people.”
Isabel: “Okay, last question for this interview, if you had to rate this year so far on a scale of one out of ten, what would you give it?”
Roma: “I am gonna say, a solid eight out of ten because this will be one of my easiest years. I didn’t go to Homecoming or the Freshmen Dance, which I regret, but I am happy overall with this school year so far.”
Interview with Aasheeta Nalawde
Isabel: “Can you tell me, academically, how this school year has been for you?”
Aasheeta: It’s been great!
Isabel: “How about socially?”
Aasheeta: It’s been great!
Isabel: “If you had to rate this school year from a scale of one to ten, what would you give this school year so far?”
Aasheeta: “I would say a 6.5, because it could’ve been better.
Interview with Luke Watkins
Isabel: Okay, first academically, what would you rate this school year?
Luke: Honestly, a four because I took accelerated history and biology, which is good because I don’t have to study for as much, but I feel like I could have challenged myself more academically.”
Isabel: “By doing honors?”
Luke: “Yeah.”
Isabel: “Okay, how about socially, how has this school year been?
Luke: “Like definitely way better because I’ve expanded my friend group, and started talking to new people.”
Isabel: “That’s good, now overall, if you had to rate this school year so far from one to ten, what would you give it?”
Luke: “Like a seven.”
Isabel: “Why did you rate this school year a seven?”
Luke: “I mean, seven is just the average. I am just glad to do ensemble and audition for South Jersey Band.”
Isabel: “Did you get in?”
Luke: “Yeah.”
Isabel: “Good job. Okay, now what would make this school year better?”
Luke: “If I did more things socially, like going to dances and homecoming, I wish I had practiced the clarinet more.”
Isabel: “It’s okay, you made it to the All-South Jersey Band.”
Interview with Vikshith Anagandla
Isabel: Okay, if you had to rate this school year academically, so far, what would you rate it? Explain in detail.”
Vikshith: “Okay, I would rate this school year a five. Because academically, every class is super hard, and I am overwhelmed.”
Isabel: “Thank you for letting me interview you!”
Interview with Austin Hyun
Isabel: “Okay, first one. If you had to rate this school year academically, how has it been for you?”
Austin: “So far, academically, this school year has been going great. My classes have been going pretty well, and most of the classes are not that difficult.”
Isabel: “Do you have a favorite class, and why is it your favorite class?”
Austin: “AP World because my teacher, Mr. Meanie, is a really fun and cool teacher, and I enjoy that class.”
Isabel: “Okay, nice. How about socially, how has your school year been?”
Austin: “So overall, I have a lot of friends in most of my classes.”
Isabel: “What about teachers?”
Austin: “My relationship with my teachers is pretty good. I like most of my teachers.”
Isabel: “That’s good. Now my final question for this interview is if you had to rate this school year so far, from a one to ten, what would you rate it, and why?”
Austin: “Probably a seven because I have a lot of friends, but some of my classes can be difficult sometimes.”
Isabel: “That’s it for the interview, thank you!”
